overcoming perceived limitations

Many of our so-called limitations come from our own perceptions of ourselves. If I listened to everyone who told me that something wasn’t possible for me, I wouldn’t be doing much of anything!
Although I was born blind, my first memorable spiritual experience was a vision. I believe that the spirits began to teach me to overcome perceived limitations at a very young age. My first vision taught me that although I do not have physical sight, my soul does not have that limitation. From my first vision, I also learned that God and Jesus exist outside of the church. My self-perceptions have been challenged several times throught my life. Although I still have a long journey ahead of me, my accomplishments came as a result of overcoming limitations. Now, I challenge you to overcome yours. Is there an area of your life where you feel limited? Now, ask yourself if that’s just your perception of the situation. If so, it may not be easy, and it may not even happen overnight, but it is possible to overcome your perceived limitations and live your life as you were meant to. After all, you deserve it!

  1. I love this, what a wonderful perception you have! I try to tell people every day that life is what you make it. We are human and sometimes it’s hard but all we can do is focus our attention on what we want and where we want to go.
