Are you settling for less?

Have you ever wondered why it seems easier to stay in the same job, relationship, or town even though it no longer serves you to do so? Have you ever been in a similar situation?
It’s definitely not your fault that you learned to settle for less and play it safe. However, playing it safe and settling for less isn’t the safer option. In fact, it could have unintended consequences.
For example, instead of exploring my spiritual interests, I was prepared to get my masters degree in social work. After all, my friends were taking this route, and they were successful. Also, several people had advised me to take this path. However, the voice of my intuition was not in agreement at all.
It took me a while, but I finally listened to the voice of my intuition. If I had gone right back to school, I would have graduated with twice as much student loan debt. Also, my stress level would’ve been pretty high because I wasn’t being true to myself.
As a result of that, I might not receive the grades that I wanted, and that wouldn’t sit well with me. Lastly, I wouldn’t be guaranteed a job after graduation.
Whenever you are tempted to settle for something in your life because it seems safer, I encourage you to check in with your intuition while weighing your options.


Law of attraction not working? Try this.

One of the most fascinating things that I have encountered on my spiritual journey is the law of attraction and our ability to manifest anything into reality. There was a time when I was depressed, and I felt that something in my life needed to change. Although I’d heard of the law of attraction, I had put it out of my mind for several years.
However, I stumbled across this information once again. I tried many of the recommended law of attraction exercises. However, every time I tried to visualize my desires, I would become distracted. I concluded that nothing would ever change anyway.
After working with a coach, I began to understand why I was manifesting the same things into my life over and over again despite studying the law of attraction. I was doing the same things over and over again while expecting different results. In other words, I was not in alignment with what I was trying to manifest.
Although I was visualizing a happier life for myself, I was depressed, which is a low vibration. Also, I did not have the belief that things would change. You can visualize and write lists of intentions until the cows come home, but if you are not in alignment with your goals and desires, you may not see the results that you expected. However, once your emotions, beliefs, and actions are brought into alignment with your goals and desires, you are more likely to wreap the rewards of your efforts.
For example, someone may be looking for love for several years. They may be seeking out a relationship in all the right ways, but that person secretly believes that she is unlovable. Since this person is out of alignment with the desire of finding love, she may end up bouncing from one relationship to another. Similarly, if I say that I want to save money while believing that I don’t deserve money and spend every penny I have, I am unlikely to manifest more money despite my desire because my beliefs and actions are not in alignment with my desire to have more money.

You’re not alone, and here’s why.

Have you ever felt completely and utterly alone? If you have, I can guarantee that you’re not the only one who has ever felt that way.
I remember one of those times that really stands out for me. I was about to graduate from college with a social work degree.
It seemed that a number of my fellow social work students knew which area of social work in which they wanted to work. That wasn’t the case for me, though.
Although I enjoyed my internship in the mental health field, I wasn’t sure that I could even get a job in that field. Also, I wasn’t even sure that a social work career was for me.
I felt completely alone with my feelings. Everyone else seemed so confident, and they seemed to know which direction their lives would take. After some time had passed, I realized that I wasn’t alone.
In our society, there is a lot of pressure to figure out exactly what we want to do with the rest of our lives. However, that’s not necessary. In fact, it is very common to struggle with this decision and even change careers several times. If you feel that you haven’t quite found your place in life yet, there’s a good chance that you know of at least one person who’s going through the same thing. Instead of worrying needlessly and feeling isolated, maybe you can support and encourage each other.

Nothing’s happening, or is it?

Have you ever worked so hard to achieve a goal, but then you don’t seem to notice the results of your efforts? This could happen for several reasons. I’d like to talk about one of those reasons in particular.
While it is your belief that nothing is happening, you may have actually accomplished more than you thought.
For example, there was a time when nothing seemed to be happening in my life despite setting intentions, maintaining a certain mindset, and taking action toward my goals. However, after some reflection, I noticed that I was actually well on my way to achieving my goals.
For instance, during that particular period in my life, I learned to trust my intuition and my spiritual team outside of my readings and ongoing mediumship development. I gained clarity and confidence in myself. Also, I learned to be present, and I learned to take action steps that are aligned with my goals and desires.
Although I did not notice the tangible results of my efforts right away, my goals and desires were beginning to manifest on the energetic level.
If we want to change our external circumstances and manifest our desires into physical form, then we must change our internal beliefs. You are more likely to notice subtle changes in your mindset before you notice a change in your external circumstances. That means that when you think nothing is happening, that may not be the case at all, and you are well on your way to manifesting your goals.

I don’t fit in, and neither do you.

Have you ever felt as though you do not fit into society’s norms and expectations? It took me several years to realize that it’s okay.
You were created that way, and so was I. Many of us grew up with parents who were doing the 9 to 5 thing and trying to fit into the neat little boxes that were set out for them. Then, you come along. You may have been told that you’re too sensitive, too shy, or even weird. Maybe you have even been mislabeled as having one or more psychiatric conditions. Maybe you have even tried so hard to please others and to fit in that you actually developed one of those conditions.
Then, you may have decided that the 9 to 5 thing wasn’t really for you, so you ventured out into the unknown while you may have been told to get a real job and get it together.
Guess what? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with you. There is nothing wrong with the people in your life, either. They are doing the best they can with what they know, and so are you. You did not come here to fit into someone else’s box. You came here to be of service in your own unique way.

Have you been visited by the I’m not ready monster?

Whenever I’m about to go for something that I want, there is always a surge of excitement. However, the second that I’m about to take a big leap of faith in the direction of my desires, that little fear monster in my head tries to convince me that I’m not ready.
This can happen for one of two main reasons. Firstly, your intuition may be trying to tell you something. You may need more information before going forward, or the timing may not be right.
The second reason for your visit from the I’m not ready monster is fear. If this is the case, examine this fear more closely. Is it really justified? If not, go ahead with your leap of faith. Remember that you won’t have to do it alone.
You always have support from the spirit world, and you could always talk to a trustworthy friend, hire a coach, or find a mentor.

why you may be struggling to ask the universe for what you want

When we wish to manifest something, it’s important that we understand our needs, wants, and desires. This isn’t as difficult as it sounds.
However, if you’re not used to asking for what you want, this first step may seem complicated. This can happen for a variety of reasons.
I remember when I was taught how to manifest, and I was asked what I wanted. Although I had an answer to that question, in the back of my mind, I was doubting whether or not I could really ask the universe for what I want without seeming greedy.
After all, if I got what I wanted, wasn’t I taking it away from someone else? I came to realize that I had just encountered two limiting beliefs that were keeping me from gaining clarity around what I wanted to attract into my life. Firstly, I was operating under the assumption that it is impolite to ask for too much. Secondly, I believed that if I allowed myself to receive abundance, I would be taking it from someone else.
After I learned that these assumptions were false, I was able to gain clarity about what I wanted to attract into my life.Once we let go of those disempowering beliefs and begin to adopt new ones, gaining clarity around your desires becomes easier.
