That’s not good enough!

Have you ever said or thought phrases like, “That’s not good enough?”
While there are people who can easily shove these occasional thoughts aside, there are others who are holding onto an underlying belief that they’re not enough.
When I was in grade school and the teacher would ask me a question, I would claim that I didn’t know the answer even when I did. I was afraid to speak up in class because my answers might not be good enough. There were times when I felt that I needed to minimize my success and downplay my accomplishments because I wanted people to like me. Otherwise, I just wasn’t good enough. These are just some examples of how this belief can show up for us in our lives.
However, this does not have to be the case for any of us. First of all, see this belief for the lie that it is.
After all, if we are infinite spiritual beings who happen to be residing in human bodies at the moment, how can we truly be anything less than enough? Also, it can be helpful to explore the reasons for adopting these beliefs. During this process, I encourage you to seek support in order to deal with the strong feelings that may come up. While I still have this belief popping up from time to time, I try to keep things in perspective and have lots of compassion for myself. Sometimes, this is the best that we can do.

why you may be struggling to ask the universe for what you want

When we wish to manifest something, it’s important that we understand our needs, wants, and desires. This isn’t as difficult as it sounds.
However, if you’re not used to asking for what you want, this first step may seem complicated. This can happen for a variety of reasons.
I remember when I was taught how to manifest, and I was asked what I wanted. Although I had an answer to that question, in the back of my mind, I was doubting whether or not I could really ask the universe for what I want without seeming greedy.
After all, if I got what I wanted, wasn’t I taking it away from someone else? I came to realize that I had just encountered two limiting beliefs that were keeping me from gaining clarity around what I wanted to attract into my life. Firstly, I was operating under the assumption that it is impolite to ask for too much. Secondly, I believed that if I allowed myself to receive abundance, I would be taking it from someone else.
After I learned that these assumptions were false, I was able to gain clarity about what I wanted to attract into my life.Once we let go of those disempowering beliefs and begin to adopt new ones, gaining clarity around your desires becomes easier.

Mindset, mindset, mindset!

Okay, so you’ve completed all of the practical steps you need in order to manifest a goal. You’ve completed a vision board, said your affirmations, visualized, uncovered limiting beliefs, implemented spiritual practices, and taken action steps. If you’ve consistently applied these steps, you’re well on your way to manifesting what you desire and truly deserve!
Maybe you’re wondering why very little seems to be happening?
Well, let me ask you something. When you were doing your mindset work, were you really and truly consistent, and were you completely and shamelessly honest with yourself?
I have discovered that uncovering layers and layers of limited beliefs is an ongoing process. If, for example, you are trying to land a job with a larger salary and there are limited beliefs that relate to money, you may need to explore these beliefs before you manifest that higher-paying job. Limiting beliefs can thwart all of your manifestation efforts.
So how can you uncover these limiting beliefs and get back on the road to manifesting your dreams? There are several ways to do this, but remember that your effort needs to be consistent. Using a journal can help you to get to the root of destructive patterns and beliefs so that you can release them for good. Also, working with the right coach, mentor, or therapist can be helpful because they can be more objective about your situation, and they can offer tools to help you release these beliefs and create a workable action plan.
I hope you found this helpful, and keep going after your dreams!
