Whether you are a medium or not, you may have experienced the fear of visibility from time to time. I have been guided to share this part of my story with you in order to encourage you to stop hiding your light from the world. You were given certain abilities and strengths for a reason.
When I was 7 or 8 years old, I had my first experience with spirit communication that I could remember. I was woken up by something during the night, and I got up to get a glass of water. I went back to bed, and tried to fall asleep again. I was relaxed, but I was still awake when I had this experience. I saw a bright light coming toward me. My eyes are especially sensitive to bright lights, but this particular light didn’t hurt my eyes at all. Somehow, I knew that it was pure white light. For some reason, I was drawn to this light. Then, I heard gentle whispering in my ear. The voice said that he would always love me and would never leave me. Somehow, I knew that this being was Jesus. I was so excited because I couldn’t wait to tell everyone in church that Jesus was real.
I woke my mother to tell her about my experience, and she was excited for me. Although my brother didn’t believe me, I knew that I experienced something real. After that, I was encouraged to keep those experiences to myself. This, among other experiences that were unrelated to spirit communication, led me to develop the belief that it isn’t safe to be seen.
Through inner work, I have learned to release this fear and stop hiding my light from the world.
When clients visit a medium, they’re likely to come with a certain set of expectations. Often times, clients expect to receive a message from a specific person.
However, mediums cannot guarantee that a specific spirit will communicate during the reading. There may be several reasons why this can happen.
I believe that clients are likely to receive messages from loved ones who need to come through. This means that clients may be more likely to hear from those people first. I believe that the spirit world knows what each of us needs on the soul level. In other words, clients will get what they need before getting what they want from a reading.
However, the spirit world has a way of delivering the perfect message at the perfect time. I understand that this can be extremely frustrating. After my father passed away, I wanted to hear from him. At the time, I attended a local spiritualist church, and I would silently ask my father to bring a message through one of the mediums.
For years, I heard nothing from my father. When I had worked through the worst of my grief, he came through.
Now, I understand that I needed to do some serious inner work before I was ready to hear from my father. I believe that everything happens in its own time. If you’re in a similar situation to what I just described, it does not mean that your deceased family member has stopped loving you. In fact, your departed loved ones love you enough to give you exactly what you need at the right time, and never before then.
How would you react if you tuned into your intuition and there was complete silence? Would you be annoyed, or would you just accept it?
When I connect with Spirit, sometimes I do so in order to ask for clarity and guidance. One evening, I asked my guides a question.
However, I did not receive an answer, or at least that’s what my monkey mind led me to believe. However, the silence was actually a message about being present and taking time to quiet the mind chatter.
If I had allowed myself to become frustrated at the supposed lack of a response from Spirit, I would have missed the message altogether.
During meditation, I received some guidance that I wanted to share, and I hope it is beneficial to you in some way. Focus on joy and success rather than fear and stress.
Yes, I can already hear some people telling me that this is easier said than done. However, this doesn’t have to be the case. Ask yourself these two questions:
How can I bring more joy into my life? How would my life change if I focused on joy and success for just five minutes each day?
If you don’t feel able to do this right now, that’s okay. Alternatively, you may want to start by asking yourself what is keeping you from allowing more joy and greater success into your life. Remember that you always have a choice when it comes to how you want to experience life. You owe it to yourself to choose a life of joy and success. Yes, it is truthat you may have days when nothing seems to go your way, but you can still choose your reaction to those experiences.
As both a professional and a consumer, I understand the importance of finding a professional who can meet your needs and help you to feel comfortable. However, as a medium, I deserve as much respect as any professional.
There are ways to locate the right psychic or medium for you while being respectful. For example, one can read about my services on my website or visit my social media pages.
However, I do not wish to play a round of test the medium with you. While it is perfectly okay to ask me questions such as how I receive information from the spirit world or how long I have been doing this work, I cannot entertain questions that are designed to test my accuracy. It is not only disrespectful to me, but you are wasting your time as well.
Your loved ones would most likely prefer to let you know that their souls have survived physical death, as well as give you messages of healing, comfort, and guidance. I apologize if I have offended anyone, but these things need to be said.
After losing a loved one, it may be helpful to visit a medium. However, prior to sitting with a medium, there is one important thing to keep in mind.
We are not vending machines, and we cannot dial up a specific deceased person at will. Don’t let this get you down, though. While you may not get exactly what you want during a reading, I believe that the spirit world is hard at work to give you exactly what you need.
For example, while you would rather hear from your favorite aunt, perhaps your grandmother will come through with some much-needed encouragement. Why did this happen?
Perhaps your favorite aunt wasn’t a strong communicator, or maybe the spirit world thought that it was more important for you to hear from your grandmother. There’s another explanation, though. While I have compassion for my clients, my primary job as a medium is to serve the spirit world. This means that I do not get to decide who gets to communicate. I would not force a spirit to communicate if he or she didn’t want to. I believe that this would be a disservice to my clients and disrespectful to their deceased loved ones.
